Meet The Off Leash K9 Team
Anastasia Bachman - OWNER
Anastasia Bachman (Owner) began her time with Off Leash K9 Training as a client in 2022. Her 1 year old German Shepherd mix Luna was a very nervous but incredibly strong willed dog. She was known to pull Anastasia down the road on their walks and had no stability in her recall off leash. After graduating from OLK9’s Basic Obedience Program, Anastasia fell in love with the Off Leash process and the care they devoted to her and her dog’s future. She was blown away by the changes she saw in her dog and knew she wanted to help provide that same experience to others.
Today, she spends her days helping dogs and owners live their best lives through training and obedience. When she’s not working, she is enjoying her off leash freedom with Luna while hiking, camping and rollerblading.
Anastasia loves learning about clients and helping each one incorporate obedience into their individual lifestyles. She enjoys seeing owners create happy, stress-free lives within their homes and learn the skills to confidently have their dogs off leash in any situation.
Kimberly Nager - Trainer
Kim Nager grew up in Bucks County with a lifelong love for animals—especially dogs. Her journey with animals began through horseback riding and later working for a professional dog trainer, where she managed the barn and cared for the dogs. After rescuing her own dog, Stewie, Kim enrolled in training classes and discovered a true passion for helping dogs become the best versions of themselves.
From there, she launched her own pet sitting business and dedicated the last two years to studying and practicing positive reinforcement training methods. Eager to expand her knowledge, Kim pursued continuing education through Off Leash K9 Training Philly, where she refined her skills in canine behavior and obedience.
Kim finds the most reward in helping clients build strong, positive, and lasting connections with their dogs. She remains passionate about learning, growing, and fostering harmony between pets and their people. In her free time, Kim enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her family and their four children, relaxing at the beach, and hiking at local parks.
Genevieve Raven - Trainer
Genevieve’s passion for working with dogs began with a lifelong love of animals and a strong desire to turn that passion into a career. She first stepped into the world of dog care and training as a volunteer dog walker at an animal shelter, where she was introduced to working with dogs of all breeds, ages, temperaments, and behavioral backgrounds. That experience gave Genevieve a strong foundation in reading canine behavior, building trust, and meeting dogs where they are.
Before transitioning fully into dog training, Genevieve spent 14 years as a teacher in the public school system, where teaching, patience, and clear communication were at the heart of her work. After volunteering, she began working professionally as a dog walker and caregiver, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of dogs and their unique needs. During this time, Genevieve saw firsthand the powerful difference training made in her own rescue dogs, which ultimately led her to decide to pursue dog training full time.
This path led Genevieve to her current role as a dog trainer with Off Leash K9. Training allows her to combine her professional teaching background with her passion for dogs to help both dogs and their owners succeed. Watching dogs grow, learn, and thrive alongside their families, and empowering owners through education, is what makes this work so meaningful to Genevieve
Claire Bachman - Trainer
Claire grew up with dogs as a child, but her true drive to help others with their dogs came after she got her 5yo German Shepherd mix, Charlie. She got him as a puppy and raised him alongside her children. She started his training on her own, but as he grew, Charlie developed some reactivity around dogs and new people. She knew she wanted to make sure she was doing what was best for him and that lead her to Off Leash K9 Training Philadelphia. She came in as a client, worked the process, and fell in love. She built a strong foundation for communication with Charlie, and now she enjoys the trust of being able to take him with her anywhere and everywhere. Since then, she has taken up helping others train their dogs to the same level of off leash obedience. She wants all dog owners to know that their dogs are trainable and it is possible to have the life you’ve always dreamed of with the dog of your dreams.
On her own time, you could find Claire hiking a mountain (with Charlie of course), spending time with her kids, and training up her second dog, a 6yo Newfoundland/Bernese Mountain rescue named Journey. Quality time with family means everything to Claire, and that includes the four-legged kind too!
